About the project
We developed Marta, an AI-powered reception assistant for Viokox, designed to streamline the logistics check-in process for carriers and suppliers. The assistant was built to collect required arrival information, guide drivers through the check-in process, answer site and access questions through a knowledge base, schedule loading and unloading slots, and organize operational data in a structured format for the logistics team.
The implementation was designed around Viokox’s real transport and reception workflow, allowing carriers and suppliers to complete the check-in process before reaching the loading dock. The solution supported multilingual conversations, automated appointment scheduling for loading and unloading operations, and maintained structured operational records in Excel, ensuring the internal team had accurate information available in advance.
Marta runs on the Autonex platform and keeps operational records in Excel, matching the way the logistics team already tracked activity. Handling multilingual conversations was a specific requirement, since drivers arriving at the dock do not all speak the same language, and the assistant lets them complete check-in steps before reaching the gate rather than at it.
