Quicine

Quicine is a smart mobile app for the foodtech and smart-home space, built to optimise household management and reduce food waste. Two.Zero designed and developed the app end to end: it lets users digitise their pantry by scanning receipts, manage inventory in real time, and keep personalised profiles based on each user’s habits and nutritional preferences.

The system includes an AI-based recommendation engine that suggests recipes from the ingredients on hand and usage behaviour, adapting progressively over time. On the build, Two.Zero handled the design in Figma, implementation in FlutterFlow and a backend architecture in Firebase, together with the receipt-scanning and processing system, testing and the app’s final deployment. The result is a working product ready for validation with real users ahead of a growth phase.

The build was organised in short iterations, with periodic scope reviews alongside the Quicine team to prioritise the scanning and inventory features first, followed by the recommendation engine and UX/UI refinements on top of the flow already in place.
